Číslárna sells house number plates that are only made after the order comes in. We built an e-shop around a configurator: the customer picks the number, font, colours and size, sees the finished plate in 2D and 3D, and the e-shop catches a design that could not be made before anyone pays.

Every plate is different, the e-shop has to cope
Číslárna keeps no stock of finished products. Every plate is made to order, with the number, font and colours the customer chose. An off the shelf platform can sell finished goods with variants, not a product built from dozens of combinations.
Selling a product that does not exist yet
The customer has to see the finished plate before paying, the price has to work itself out and production needs exact files with no retyping.
What an off the shelf platform cannot do
- Product variants cannot cover a number, a font, three colours and two lines of text.
- The customer cannot see what their plate will look like.
- Nobody checks for a design the printer cannot produce.
- Production would retype orders by hand, with mistakes.

Customers see what they buy
Number, type, size, mounting, font, colours and text under the number. The preview redraws on every change, the plate can be rotated in 3D and the price and dispatch date update as you go. A finished design can be shared by link.
The range changes without a developer
Staff switch colours, fonts and sizes on and off, adjust prices and surcharges, and manage designs, orders and site content. Whatever is switched off cannot be ordered.
From payment straight to production
Once paid through GoPay, an invoice is issued and production files are stored with the order. A later change to the range never rewrites an old order.
Connected to price comparison sites
XML feeds for Google, Heureka and Zboží.cz, carrying only designs with a photo and promotion switched on.

Customers design and pay for their plate without phone calls or preview emails. Only a design that can be printed reaches production.
Fast, configurator included
Pages are rendered on the server, only the configurator and the cart are interactive. Font outlines load only when the customer needs them and finished pages are cached.

Can you build an e-shop with a configurator for my own product?
Yes. Číslárna is exactly that: the customer builds a plate from a number, font, colours, size and text, and the e-shop works out the price, preview and production files.
Does the e-shop catch a design that cannot be made?
Yes. Before adding to cart it checks the contrast between number and plate, the thinnest font strokes against the printer nozzle, the minimum text height and whether the number matches the chosen type. The server repeats the check on order, so it cannot be bypassed.
What does production receive?
Every paid order stores print files and a preview. If the colour or font range changes later, the old order stays exactly as the customer paid for it.
Who manages designs, colours and prices?
The shop staff, in a custom admin. A colour that runs out is switched off with one toggle and disappears from the configurator.
How does the e-shop bring in customers?
Feeds for Google, Heureka and Zboží.cz, category content pages and a blog, structured data for search engines and data for AI assistants. Every order records where the customer came from.
