Do you build websites for companies, or only for freelancers?
Both. For companies we usually build a company website with services, references and an enquiry form, plus a CMS the whole team can use. You get the scope and the price in writing before we start.
Will I be able to edit the website later?
From the Business package you get a CMS to change services, references, photos and content pages yourself. Premium adds changes to the site structure and navigation. On the Start package we handle edits for you at an hourly rate of EUR 30 excl. VAT.
What if I need an e-shop or more features later?
We can grow the site over time. We often add an e-shop, booking system, customer zone or accounting integrations. We handle it individually based on your needs.
I already have a website, but it is outdated. Can you rebuild it?
Yes, that is what a website redesign is for. We keep your content and your search rankings, replace the design and the technology, and add inquiry tracking so you know what the site brings in.
How long will the website last before I have to rebuild it?
The website does not rely on plugins that update every month and one day stop working, but on code we wrote for you and understand. The design and the copy usually age faster than the technology, and those you change in the CMS without us. When it is time for a new look, we do a redesign on top of the existing content, not a website from scratch.
I only need a website for one event or one season. Does that make sense with you?
Yes, that is what the Start package is for, done within 10 days: one to five pages, a sign-up or enquiry form. You do not have to shut the website down after the event, the domain and hosting run for the first year included, so next year you turn it into a page for the next edition or for your whole business.
Do I need to come and see you, or can it all be done remotely?
The whole website can be done remotely, we work for clients across the Czech Republic. The first consultation is a phone or video call, we send drafts for approval as we go and hand over the finished website with all credentials online. If you are near Plzeň, we are happy to meet in person.
What if I don't have any copy or photos?
No problem. We help you with the copy, we have templates for your industry. We can take photos on-site or use quality stock photography (included in Business and Premium).
How long does it take?
Start 10 days, Business 14 days and Premium 20 days after you deliver the inputs. If you're in a hurry we can do express delivery for 30% extra.
What if you miss the promised deadline?
The delivery date is guaranteed. If we miss it and it's our fault, you get 20% off the price. The countdown starts once we have the complete inputs from you.
What's included and what costs extra?
The price includes the full website, domain for a year, SSL, basic SEO, contact form and Google Analytics. Running the site from year two, hosting and domain together, typically comes to about EUR 40 a year. No hidden fees.
Do I have to pay everything at once, or can I pay in parts?
You pay in two parts. Half of the price as a deposit once the contract is signed, the other half only after you approve the finished website. Until then you pay nothing else and we charge nothing else.
How much will the website cost me per year to run?
Nothing in the first year, the domain and hosting are included. From the second year you pay for running the site, hosting and domain together, typically about EUR 40 a year, invoiced once a year. Nothing else is mandatory, no monthly fee for the CMS or for maintenance. You order changes only when you want them.
Who owns the website and the domain, and what if we part ways?
You do. The domain is registered in your name or your company's name from the start, once the invoice is paid you get access to everything including the source code, and we keep no rights to the website. If we part ways, you can move the website to another host or developer at any time with no penalties, we hand over the complete code, the database and all credentials. Hosting with us is a service you pay for as long as it suits you, not a lock.
Do we sign a contract and what is in it?
Yes, a contract for work. We send it to you already signed on our side and you simply reply from your e-mail that you agree, nothing gets printed. It covers the scope of the website, the price and the delivery date.
Will I get an invoice?
Yes, we're VAT-registered. We'll issue you an invoice you can expense.
